Happy Easter!
A short blog this week! April 20th was Easter Sunday, and as you all probably know, it’s a common day for families to get together and share dinner together! For my family, it was mostly the usual process; go to my sister’s house, my mom makes food, and I get to see my siblings and their family, as well as both of my parents.
Here you can see my brother at the stove getting his food, and to the right of him is my mother, in red. In the grey shirt on the right side is my mother’s boyfriend, and the arm on the left is my brother’s girlfriend!
On the counter in the middle is turkey, ham, and cranberry sauce, staples for any big, traditional family dinner in North America!
And here are the other important parts; carrots, mashed turnip, mashed potatoes, and gravy!
Those are the only pictures I took. The only thing different about this year was my grandma wasn’t there. She’s now living in an old age home, so it’s difficult for her to get out. It’s a little sad, but I’m happy she’s getting taken care of, rather than home alone and potentially in danger!
That’s it from me this week! Hopefully something exciting can happen soon, otherwise, I’m just working away like normal, haha!
