A busy March
Wait… it’s April already?? Oh no!
I’ve been very busy creating more and more lessons recently. I’ll be going on vacation in June, so I want to make sure that I have extra lessons completed before then, so I won’t have to spend time creating lessons during that month! I’ll still be teaching lessons as normal, so don’t worry, I’ll see all of you, and have some great new pictures, I hope!
What’s new for me? Let’s see… well, my sister’s daughters (my neices) are selling cookies for their youth group. In North America, we have “Girl Guides”. Maybe you know about “Boy Scouts” that are in many countries. This is the girl version!
So I wanted to support them, and I bought 4 boxes (too many!). They were expensive, but still pretty tasty! They’re perfect with milk~
Some of you might know that Canada has a new Prime Minister, Mark Carney. I don’t know much about him (nobody really does!), but he called a new election for April 28th. I’m not usually passionate about politics, but with the recent difficulties with Donald Trump in America, I want to make sure we don’t have a leader like that…
So I submitted my ballot yesterday! It was my first time doing it by mail, and it seemed quite secure! Do you have a mailing voting system like this?
I almost forgot! At the beginning of March, my husband and our friend went on a road trip to a small rural town - where our friend grew up - so here are some pictures from that trip!
Every road trip needs donuts!
My favourites! Honey crullers, boston cream, and sour cream glazed! <3
A tiny church, probably more like a chapel!
My friend’s hometown! You can see the icy lake still frozen.
And here is an ocean view.
I’m sorry I skipped March! I had a lot on my plate, but hopefully in April I can get some pictures of the local trails!
See you all next time! :D
